On June 30, GALA (Globalization and Localization Association) published an open invitation to join the GALA Standards Initiative, signed by GALA board member and Logrus President Serge Gladkoff. Addressed to language service providers, software developers, and customers alike, the invitation underscores the benefits of participation for all industry participants. Participation in the GALA Standards Initiative is a way to stay up to speed on the latest achievements in industry standardization and actively influence the process of shaping the industry standards. It also offers an opportunity to showcase own industry knowledge and experience and make a substantial contribution to industry development, and earn a reputation and the trust of partners in the process.
Participation in the GALA Standards Initiative is open to all interested parties and does not require any fees or membership of GALA.
The GALA Standards Initiative was launched in April 2011 to coordinate standardization efforts in the global localization industry, enhance industry rules, facilitate interaction among industry participants, and spread available knowledge in this field.
