The annual international conference Tekom took place on October 23-26, 2012.
Traditionally held in Wiesbaden, Germany, the conference draws representatives of international companies that do business in the fields of technical communication, localization, and translation. The conference program features multiple lectures, master classes, and exhibits, with a dedicated site set up each year for international associations and organizations.
Logrus took part in the conference yet again, representing the Localization Professional community – one of the largest professional groups on the LinkedIn network. The group set up a booth where visitors could learn about community activities, discuss current issues, or simply rub shoulders with fellow professionals. As the founder and administrator of Localization Professional, Serge Gladkoff published an open invitation to visit the booth and share new ideas for a more constructive collaboration. Many took up his invitation gladly.

The Logrus team manned the LocPro booth, which afforded Logrus yet another opportunity to interface with other members of one of the world's largest translator communities and discuss further joint efforts. The LocPro booth also captured the attention of other Tekom participants involved in technical writing, content development, or localization in one way or another.
